The exhibition was officially opened by the President Andrzej Duda – the guest of honor. The event was organized by the Mayor of Stalowa Wola, the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodship and Industrial Development Agency. During the ceremony, a discussion panel was held on economic developments taking place over the last century. It was attended by the Chairman of PEE Committee Prof. Piotr Wachowiak, Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodship – Władysław Ortyl, President of Huta Stalowa Wola – Bartłomiej Zając. The ceremony was also attended by the Minister Adam Kwiatkowski, Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland, Rafał Weber – Deputy Minister of Infrastructure, as well as Paweł Kolczyński, Vice President of the Industrial Development Agency.
Nearly 70 companies from all over Poland outstanding in terms of innovation, state-of-the-art solutions, as well as alluding to tradition of Polish manufacturers, presented their products and services. Exhibitors represented heavy industry, light industry, food industries and innovative start-ups. Among them were: KGHM Polska Miedź, Kopalnia Soli „Wieliczka” S.A., Polskie Fabryki Porcelany Ćmielów, Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewcz – Instytut Metali Niezależnych, Spółdzielnia Mleczarska Mlekovita, Whisbear Sp. z o.o., PKO BP and many more.
The Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing showcased the Mobile Sensory Examination Capsule, which was very popular among the participants. During the event, the Institute was represented by: Director Paweł Doliński, Wojciech Będziński, Weronika Gnich, Andrzej Kuca, Damian Lasak and Magdalena Zawisza-Ciupera. The above-mentioned persons received a Certificate of Participation in the Polish Economic Exhibition from the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda. The Mayor of Stalowa Wola – Lucjusz Nadbereżny also personally thanked the Institute for participating in the Exhibition.
