The conference was organized in an online format; it took place from 28 April to 1 May 2021. The awards were handed out during the opening session on 29 April. It is worth noting that out of 350 submissions, only ten studies have been awarded, including the one from Poland. It demonstrates a high level of expertise, innovativeness, and potential of the findings presented by the Polish team.
The team of the World Hearing Centre presented five studies at the conference. There were no other studies from Poland in the conference program and only a few from European centers. It is also worth highlighting that it was the only awarded study with Polish authors.
