Scientific and clinical activities of prof. H. Skarżyński are very widespread and cover 43 years (1980–2023). His achievements include many landmarks that are the milestones in Polish and global medicine. His significant achievements in this field include the steady development of scientific and clinical cadres. He was the promoter of 31 doctoral theses in medicine and health sciences, formal and informal supervisor of 12 habilitation processes (and five pending), he participated in the scientific output of 7 collaborators who obtained professorates (three in the process of the scientific promotion), and supervised over 100 specializations in otolaryngology, otorhinolaryngology, audiology, audiology & phoniatrics, and pediatric otolaryngology.
