On September 27, 2018, an agreement was signed in the Ministry of Health for co-financing the implementation of the Project entitled „Training of doctors in the Center of Advanced Surgical Techniques of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology at the World Hearing Center for the needs of otosurgery, rhinosurgery, phonosurgery, orbital surgery, maxillofacial surgery, skull base surgery” under the Knowledge Education Development Programme (PO WER, priority axis V Support for the health sector, Measure 5.4 Professional competences and qualifications of medical personnel). The agreement was signed by Deputy Minister of Health – Janusz Cieszy\u0144ski and Prof. Henryk Skar\u017cy\u0144ski, director of the Institute.<\/h3>\n

– The main goal of the project is to develop professional skills and qualifications of doctors, including experts and specialists in otorhinolaryngology, audiology and phoniatrics, pediatric otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology and maxillofacial surgery, in the scope of highly specialized diagnostic and treatment procedures within the skull base. \u2013 said Prof. Skar\u017cy\u0144ski during a Polish Radio programme. \u2013 We will organize 40 trainings to enable an increase in the number of doctors and centers implementing procedures in these fields in Poland. It is an answer to the epidemiological and demographic needs of our country, including maps of health needs. \u2013 added Prof. Skar\u017cy\u0144ski.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
