{"id":1889,"date":"2013-10-14T15:20:40","date_gmt":"2013-10-14T15:20:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/178.216.200.219\/?p=1889"},"modified":"2013-10-14T15:20:40","modified_gmt":"2013-10-14T15:20:40","slug":"8th-conference-of-audiology-and-phoniatrics-section-in-lodz","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/henrykskarzynski.pl\/?p=1889&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"8th Conference of Audiology and Phoniatrics Section, in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t<strong>Instrumental methods of voice examination, the rules of prophylaxis, prevention and rehabilitation of hearing, voice and speech disorders, as well as disorders of communication and articulation, and latest methods of audiology diagnostics &ndash; were the main topics of 8<sup>th<\/sup> Conference of Audiology and Phoniatrics Section of the Polish Association of Otolaryngologists &#8211; Head and Neck Surgeons, which took place on 6-8 June 2013 in \u0141&oacute;d\u017a. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tA group of known and respected leaders in audiology and phoniatrics from Poland and abroad took part in the conference. The guests participated in 12 plenary sessions, and poster and lecture sessions. The inaugural lecture, titled: &ldquo;<em>Interdisciplinarity<\/em> in medicine&rdquo;, was given by Prof. Henryk Skar\u017cy\u0144ski &ndash; State Consultant in Otorhinolaryngology and the Chairman of&nbsp; Audiology and Phoniatrics Section of the Polish Association of Otolaryngologists &#8211; Head and Neck Surgeons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tThe history of Audiology and Phoniatrics Section goes back to the year 2006. That year Prof. Skar\u017cy\u0144ski was the organizer and the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing was the host of the 1<sup>st<\/sup> Conference.
