\t\"\"The President of the Republic of Poland Mr. Bronislaw Komorowski on the occasion of the May 3 Constitution Celebrations, presented the state awards at the Royal Castle in Warsaw. Among the recipients of these honors were the eminent Poles who, through their work, talents and passions raise the position of Poland in the world. In this honorable group was Prof. Henryk Skarzynski.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\tProfessor H. Skarzynski was awarded the Commander’s Cross of the Order of Rebirth of Poland for the outstanding achievements in research and teaching, for his contribution to the development of medical science in Poland and abroad and for the promotion of the international scientific cooperation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\tPresident Bronislaw Komorowski thanked all conferees, who with their work and talent make Poland a better country and bring good renown to its name it in the world: I want<\/em> <\/em>to congratulate<\/em> <\/em>all<\/em> <\/em>decorated<\/em>, I want to wholeheartedly thank you on behalf of our Country, on behalf of our entire nation, for your merits that form a part of activities ‘for ages and for generations – for the grandeur of Poland’<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\tThe Order of Rebirth of Poland<\/strong> (Order of Polonia Restituta<\/strong> ) – established in 1921 – is conferred for outstanding contributions in service to the country and to the society, especially the achievements in the fields of education, science, sport, culture, art, economics, defense of the country, social work, civil service, or for furthering good relations between countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
