{"id":1814,"date":"2013-10-17T15:32:06","date_gmt":"2013-10-17T15:32:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/178.216.200.219\/?p=1814"},"modified":"2013-10-17T15:32:06","modified_gmt":"2013-10-17T15:32:06","slug":"lion-2012-live-international-otolaryngology-network-24-may-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/henrykskarzynski.pl\/?p=1814&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"LION 2012 \u2013 Live International Otolaryngology Network 24 May, 2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t<strong>On 24 May, 2012, took place the 7th Global Otology &ndash; Neurotology Live Surgical Broadcast.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tThe World Hearing Center in Kajetany took, as it does every year, an active part in this event, not only giving to all interested the opportunity to participate in the the teleconference, but also presenting to the LION participants allover the world surgeries performed by Prof. Henryk Skar\u017cy\u0144ski.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tThe LION &nbsp;Global Videoconference Broadcasts focus on presenting the newest surgical techniques in otolaryngology and neurotosurgery. During each event are presented more than 30 live surgeries performed by the best otosurgeons in<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tthe centers from the entire world: Brazil, Australia, Turkey, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Poland. Participants may discuss and ask questions for surgeons and lecturers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tThe Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing actively participates in the LION program for many years, since 2010 Kajetany is one of the centers presenting the advanced surgical techniques.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tThis year Prof. Henryk Skar\u017cy\u0144ski performed two demonstration surgeries during LION:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\tCochlear implantation (Med-El Flex electrode) in partial deafness, and<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t\tOssiculoplasty with the glassionomer cement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \tThe 7th LION Broadcast was available for all interested persons in telestudio (K3) in the World Hearing Center in Kajetany.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> \t<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lion-web.org\/\">http:\/\/www.lion-web.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 24 May, 2012, took place the 7th Global Otology &ndash; Neurotology Live Surgical Broadcast.
