The Gala \u201cPersonalities and Successes\u201d took place on the 11th<\/sup> April in the Warsaw Marriott Hotel. During the event prof. Henryk Skar\u017cy\u0144ski was voted the Personality of the Year 2016. Among other persons who received the title there were: Marian Opania, Beata\u00a0Kozidrak, Katarzyna and Cezary \u017bak, prof. Miros\u0142aw Z\u0105bek.<\/p>\n

When opening the ceremony, Mariusz Pujszo, the organizer of the Gala \u201cPersonalities and Successes\u201d, stressed that the main aim of this event is to reward people who thank to their hard work, devotion and self-discipline achieved a professional success.<\/p>\n

The \u201cPersonality of the Year\u201d prize was awarded to Prof. Henryk Skar\u017cy\u0144ski in a very special time. The year 2016 is a jubilee year for Professor and his team: it is the 20th<\/sup> anniversary of the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing and the 25th<\/sup> anniversary of the deafness treatment programme.<\/p>\n

Many additional events to place as part of the Gala \u201cPersonalities and Successes\u201d. There were performances of Polish artists \u2013 Natalia Bujszo, Zbigniew Macias and Dariusz Stachura. The Gala is not only an important cultural but also business and social event. Among guest there were people from the world of business and show-business. The Gala gathered several hundred people \u2013 the Polish cultural, scientific, business and social elite.<\/p>\n
